Fighting Time!!!

It was early morning as Sarengeti walked through the forest. The dew was shining on the grass blades, and the air was crisp and cool. She had been put on the early morning territory rounds, and when she was woken  up she wasn't too pleased about it. But once she had gotten awake and out here, she started to enjoy it. All of a sudden, she smelled a reeking scent. She recognized it as a wolf, one from LightPack. She growled. Audolf and Yuri turned to look at her. "I smell LightPack." she growled. They started to track the scent through the now still forest. "It continues through the forest to their territory." Yuri snarled. "We'll just have to leave it for now, but don't worry: this isn't finished." Sarengeti told them. They raced back through the forest to the Pack camp. "Attention wolves! We have caught scent of LightPack on our territory!" howled Sarengeti. The pack growled things like "Those guys again! They are total deerbrains!" and "It really isn't surprising that they would cross borders, it isn't the first time they've done it. But still, they are stupid if they think we won't do something about it.". When the pack quieted Sarengeti continued. "Obviously they think that we won't notice or care so we must take action!" Sarengeti said with fierocity. The pack howled but the howls ended quickly to hear what Sarengeti would say next. "First I will consult with my fellow alpha and my betas." she barked. The five conversed quickly and quietly and at last Yamasaki barked clearly their decision. "First we will speak with their leader and if they continue to cross our borders we will attack them!" she barked, "But a single attack before permission will get you banished blah blah blah you know the rules. Dissmissed!" She raced down the side of the Howling Rock and to Sarengeti, who had been sitting at the front of the Pack of wolves while she had announced their decision. "Let's go to the borders again to investigate a little more precisely." she said. "Ok, sounds good." Sarengeti replied. They walked off towards the Camp entrance...

New Friends

Sarengeti woke to sounds of a busy camp. "Hey Kiira, let's go take do a patrol together!" she heard Minoru bark. She smiled and chuckled quietly to herself. "Oh Minoru, how mixed up you are." Sarengeti thought. She didn't particularly favor Kiira, since she seemed to always stretch the truth and claim that she did things that wolves could never do. Sarengeti walked outside and stretched in the late morning sun. It was going to be a cold winter, but she was sure that her new Pack could take it. They were all strong. She watched Ryuu stalking a leaf, and laughed when he grabbed it between his teeth. "He really does need another pup to play with." she thought. "Good morning Sarengeti!" she heard Assagii call. "Morning Assagii!" she returned joyfully. This was her Pack, her home. And then she remembered that she had a new Pack member to announce. "I'll announce it when Kiira and Minoru get back." she thought. As she looked about the camp, she wondered, "Where is Kyo?". And then she thought "He's out hunting again, when is he not?". As she came out of the Alpha's den, she realized that Yamasaki was still asleep. She could here her snoring! "YAMASAKI, WAKE UP!" Sarengeti howled as loud as she could. Yamasaki jumped up, startled out of her sleep. She thought that they were being attacked! "Don't do that Sarengeti!", she snapped angrily, "With all of the Packs angry at us, I was afraid that they were attacking us!". She humphed and stalked away. Out of the corner of her eye, Sarengeti saw Minoru and Kiira walk back into the camp and start to turn towards her. When they got to her,  Sarengeti said, "Do you have anything to report?" "Nope, nothing out of the norm." they replied in unison. Sarengeti then quickly ran up the the Howling Rock and howled a long, slow howl. All of the wolves gathered around below her, with Yamasaki behind her up on the Rock and Assagi, Yuri, and Kyo all directly below her. "Wolves of RavenPack," Sarengeti began, "We have a new Pack member to announce today." She paused while the wolves barked their applause. "Her name is Zehara, and she is a new fighter. She will bring honor and victory to our Pack.". She then ran down the back of the Howling Rock and touched noses with Zehara. "Welcome to RavenPack." Sarengeti said joyfully. "I'm glad to be here." she replied. As she looked up, she signaled all of the wolves with her tail. They started to howl and bark their approval and congratulations. One by one they started to come up and touch her shoulder, in a sign of welcome.
